InterContinental
Resort Tahiti
This deluxe resort sits on 32 acres
of lush tropical gardens. There
are 263 bungalows and rooms, which
are comprised of 170 fully renovated
lagoon and garden view rooms, and
extension of 60 panoramic view rooms
with a Presidential Suite, and 32
overwater bungalows.
All
rooms are decorated in traditional
Polynesian style that excludes simple
elegance. There are two horizon
pools, one by the main restaurant
and one with a sandy bottom located
by the panoramic rooms and Le Lotus
Restaurant.
The
fine dining overwater restaurant,
Le Lotus, is one of the best on
the island of Tahiti. In this elegant
and intimate atmosphere, enjoy refined
service and gourmet menu with 3
stars Michelin Guide specialties
from L'Auberge de I'ill associated
with Le Lotus Restaurant. In the
heart of the hotel, the Te Tiare
Restaurant opens out towards Moorea,
the lagoon and a spectacular swimming
pool, cascades and jacuzzi. With
its original tapa decor, the Te
Tiare Restaurant has been conceived
as an amphitheater, with three levels
to allow guests full enjoyment of
the Tahitian dance show that performs
three times a week on the water's
edge. With Polynesian dance shows
and live music nightly, this complete
resort offers fine restaurants,
shops, water sports and scuba diving.
